Registration Steps


Foreign Teams: Foreign teams should register to Foreign Team Tehran Registration Site and send us the confirmation before the deadline.

Iranian Teams:
Coaches should register their teams. Please follow these steps carefully:
  • Register your teams as early as possible at ACM/ICPC site. Follow the registration link.
  • Register your teams in the Iran Internet Programmaing Contest site. Do not register in other sites.
  • There is no limit on the number of teams that you can register at this stage.
  • You can only send teams to the regional contest based on the limits.
  • Choose your final teams.
  • Pay the registration fees for each of your final teams.
  • Send (or fax) the receipt of registration fee payment (this must be received by the deadline).
  • By the deadline, send us an official letter from your university officials that contains
    • Full name of each member,
    • his/her student number,
    • the degree (BS or MS) he/she is studing,
    • his/her department, and
    • the year of his/her entrance in the program.
    • Full name of the coach.
    Note: Each member of the team should be elligible according to the ACM/ICPC Eligibility Rule
    It is recommended that one coach is assigned for all teams from one university.
  • Finalize your registration (names, addresses, etc.) by the mentioned deadline.
    Note: The final teams are accepted and advanced to the "Tehran - Final Round" site.

Limits on the Number of Iranian Teams

Due to the limitation on our contest space, there is limit for the number of teams for each university. This limit is based on the past performances of teams from each university. See the limit list for universities that can send more than 2 teams. All other universities can only send one team.

Deadlines

Sept 26 (Mehr 4):
Final Deadline for Internet registration. All information for your selected teams should be complete. No new registration or change in the registration is possible after this date.

Nov. 23 (Azar 4 ):
Deadline for final registration of your selected teams. All documents must be received by this date. Your team's registration is "accepted" and advanced to the "Regional Contest" site, only after all documents is received and all members are elligible to participate in the regional contest. Only teams registered in the Final Round site, can participate.

Novermber 10:
Participation confirmation for foreign teams.

Most foreign teams would need visas for entering into Iran. These teams should prepare well in advance and send us all visa correspondence by Nov. 10.

All-Women Teams

ACM awards a special prize to best the all-women teams. So, it is strongly recommended that each university sends at least one all-women team.

Registration Fees

Each Iranian team is asked to pay 1,000,000 Rials as the registration fee that covers Tshirts, lunch and dinner, refreshments, and gifts. There is no registration fee for foreign teams. Registration fees should be paid to account number: 727.65 Bank Markazi Iran in the name of the Sharif University of Technology.

Travel Fund

There is no travel fund available for Iranian team. Foreign teams are supported in part by the Asia site director.

Accommodation

There is no accommodation available in the university at the time of contest. Iranian teams should take care of their own accommodations.
We will make hotel reservations for foreign teams.
